Violin

The smallest of the string instruments, the violin has the highest, brightest sound. Because the violin often plays the melody, it is considered to be a leading instrument in the orchestra. This is the most popular instrument of the Orchestra and because of this, it is also the most competitive. Fun fact: the Violin is the same instrument as the Fiddle! Fiddle is only one style of music that can be played on a Violin.
